It is our regret to inform the fans of Golden Gate Wrestling that Silas Romero will be stepping away from the ring for a while. News that Logan Thorn, longtime friend and tag team partner of Silas has tragically passed away far too young. In addition to this Silas recently welcomed the birth of his son Oliver. GGW respects Silas Romero's decision to take a sabbatical to grieve over the loss of a dear friend as well as his decision to be a good father to his newborn son. As of this time Silas Romero HAS NOT been released nor has a release been requested and IC3 has granted him a leave of absence for as long as necessary. The feeling is that he will be back; the question is not if but when? We're sure that once Silas Romero is ready he will pick up where he left off and continue to make an impact in the Golden State.
As of this time the Triple Threat is obviously in doubt. Whether or a not a suitable replacement can be found in time or not on such short notice remains to be seen but we're under the impression that if one cannot be found in time the match will continue as a Singles Match. Stay tuned to GGW for more news as it becomes available. Our thoughts and prayers are with Silas Romero and the family of Logan Thorn at this time.
