"Label those before you as your enemy. With my power, may they burn away into the endless void. With my power, you will prevail over all that you wish to hold dominion over."
UNKNOWN || "Is it on?"
Gorgeous green eyes stared into the camera lens. They searched around as if they were looking for something. The eyes moved backward, revealing their owner. A pale-skinned woman with an eerie smile stood before the camera, looking around a regal room. Behind her, Cameron Kaiser sat in the elegant chair. He held a book lovingly in his hands, turning a page delicately. Worn as it were, it still maintained an ominous air to it.
CAMERON KAISER || “I do not know, Van, is it?”
Van snickered, leaping onto the table before Cameron. She pirouetted on the table, humming lightly to herself. She danced upon the table before bowing to the audience. For whatever reason, clapping sounded throughout the room. After she accepted the applause, she lowered herself down to the table. She laid out before Cameron, caressing his cheek. Cameron did not respond to her affectionate playing.
VAN || “The mongrels are watching, Cameron.”
The moment her statement concluded, Cameron closed the book. The sound of its closing was shocking emphatic, ringing throughout the whole room. Cameron handed the book gently to Van, who held it close to her form. The oldest Kaiser put his hands together, looking to the camera with discontent.
CAMERON || “Our Lord has already decided the victor of this match. Sevele Ortega, the First Beast, will win this match. The sooner all you insects come to learn this, the better off you will be. We, The Crusade, have a mission here in this company. We have come to educate you all on our doctrine. I have been on this mission for eons it feels. Nevertheless, I stay at the grind, because The All-Mother has made it so.”
“May 20th is where The First Beast shall be let free. He wears shackles in order to keep his strength dormant. The All-Mother has bestowed power upon Ortega beyond recognition. None of you humans can possibly understand the rampage that shall happen. It is far from your comprehension.”
"The First Beast will enter. The First Beast will feed. I'll simply watch and plan. The Crusade are already setting the path for GGW's pure subjugation. I'm already in control. There's nothing anyone can do."
The sounds of metal scrapping against the floor flooded the noise gate. A door opened as Sevele Ortega dragged him and a large heap of chains inside the room. The contrast between the room and Ortega shined perfectly in the midnight blue light. He looked around, not noticing Cameron nor Van in his presence. He eyed the camera slightly, his hair hiding parts of his face.
ORTEGA || “It’s such a shame that y’all gonna have to face me. I pray to the All-Mother. I beg her to save you all from me. I’m not in control of myself. I’m never in control of myself. These shackles are what prevent me from going completely mad. These are my blessings and my curse.”
“May 20th, I need to tell you men not to be in the arena. Don’t be in the city. Don’t be in the state! I implore any people that cling to these humans not to go out there. I want you all to survive. You all have futures. Unlike Van and Cameron, I see you! You all are beautiful human beings. You all deserve to exist in this world! The All-Mother loves all of the species in this world. I want you all to continue this wrestling thing.”
“This is your dream. You all want to be champions. I was a champion before myself. You all deserve to be champions. You deserve to be out there every week and do what you love to do. You have the right to have dreams and aspirations. You were born to be human--”
Ortega held himself close for a moment, pain coursing throughout his body.
ORTEGA || “I USED TO BE HUMAN!”
Ortega screamed out in some internalized agony. Van giggled to herself, while Cameron made the wall his focus.
ORTEGA || “I used to be like all of you. I used to be a wrestler. I used to be someone who would come out there and bleed and fight for all of you. Then I met Cameron. Cameron’s divine words unlocked the inner workings of my mind. It made me evolve. It made me ascend into the Beast that the All-Mother wanted me to be! And now, I am in these shackles.”
“When Cameron takes off these shackles, I’m going to do horrible things. I’m going to pulverize everyone in this match. Mama wants me to end it all. SHE WANTS ME TO WAGE DESTRUCTION. That’s why she put me in these shackles. She’s holding me back from all of you! Now, Cameron will take these off--”
Suddenly, Sevele's head whipped in Cameron's direction.
ORTEGA || “CAMERON, TAKE THESE OFF!”
Sevele battered into the nearest wall, screaming out. Van looked over it, partly interested. A mere chuckle came from her before she shifted back out to observe the book. Cameron’s attention was elsewhere. Sevele’s rampage stopped shortly. He turned to the camera, a hungry grin crawling onto his face.
ORTEGA || “Allow me this moment of sympathy. I have given you the proper advice. Now, run. Run as fast as you can. I can't hope to protect you from myself. The All-Mother wants this to happen.”
