Date: Wednesday June 3rd Location: San Fransisco, CA Commentary: Steven O'Reilly (play-by-play), Mark Robertson (color) Promoter: Isaac Cornelius III Authority: Isaac Cornelius III First RP (48 Hour) Deadline: Sunday, May 31st, 9PM PDT Deadline: Tuesday, June 2nd, 9PM PDT *Card Subject to Change*
Singles Match Eli Coffin vs Gio Defalco Both of these competitors came up just short in their debuts last week. Eli Coffin gave Shawna Martinez-Washington all she could handle but in the end a miscalculation (and perhaps underestimating because of her gender) sealed his defeat. Meanwhile Gio Defalco kicked things off with a bang with Knockout Supreme Silas Romero. Gio showed that he came to play and despite some impressive resilience he fell victim to what many would call a "flash knockout" after being on the wrong end of the GFKO. There's a big difference between starting 1-1 and 0-2 in terms of momentum and as each man tries to right the ship we'll see who wants it more.
Singles Match Devi Novaković vs Autumn Raven
In one of several debut matches on the second edition of Gold Rush the SuperNOVA looks to make an impact against a fellow newcomer to GGW, Autumn Raven. Raven is a last minute addition to the card after The Crusade parted ways with GGW and will look to make the most of these recent circumstances to make a splash in The Bay. Who will seize the day and the opportunity in their debut?
Singles Match Alex Healy vs Adam Johnson
The Rec Centre Hero pulled off what many considered an upset on Gold Rush 001 after capitalizing on a fatal error that cost The Triple Threat their first victory in GGW. With a victory fresh under his belt, Alex Healy looks to ride the tide towards another victory. Adam Johnson on the other hand had a good showing in the Fatal Fourway match but ultimately fell short thanks to a timely assist by The Crusade. Johnson insists that was a fluke and looks to put his money where his mouth is, money he hopes will take him straight to the bank for a W.
Singles Match Theo Vega vs Thaddeus Stone
When we last saw Theo Vega he had some choice words for the "liars, thieves, and frauds" and said that he'd be seeing Golden Gate Wrestling soon. An hour before the posting of this card we recieved news from the office of Talent Relations that T.V. has in fact been booked this week to take on Thaddeus Stone. Thaddeus Stone fell on rough times last week as Reed Williams danced circles around the grizzled veteran. Will the Measuring Stick prove that he's the Gold Standard despite the upset or is he just a "fraud" that Theo Vega plans to vanquish? Both lay claims but only one can be the Measuring Stick around GGW.
Singles Match Dash Miles vs Silas Romero
Initially advertised as a triple threat match has now become a singles match proving the old saying that the card is subject to change! Dash Miles had a good showing last week in the Fatal Fourway but in the closing minutes he was denied by BURAI as the two brawled on the outside leaving an opening for The Crusade to take their first victory. Silas Romero however on the other hand showed his dangerous knockout ability, demonstrating that he can knock anyone out at a blink of an eye. Will Silas Romero exercise his flash knockout ability once again or will Dash Miles put his nose to the grind and pick up the victory? And what about BURAI, will he continue what he started last show and look to get himself involved?
Singles Match Matt Ward vs Sean Vaughn
The Windy City Nightmare didn't have the best outing on Gold Rush 001 but he managed to land some good hits on the cocky newcomer in Showtime including a Rush Street Drop for the nearfall. His anger got the better of him however as an ill advised and poorly timed chair swing ultimately exposed and put (at least Ward's) show on ice. Sean Vaughn is said to be a varsity athlete in three sports but will that experience translate to the squared circle or will Matt Ward avenge his loss?
Singles Match Showtime vs Noah Adelaide
Speaking of Showtime, this week he'll be debuting against The War Machine Noah Adelaide. Now while Noah's dreams of becoming the first Golden Gate Champion will be forever unrealized he has an opportunity to show IC3 and the powers that be why his name should be on the short list of potential first challengers to Drew Stevenson. Showtime coming off an electrifying performance also looks to throw his hat into the arena early on into his career. With everyone looking to stake their claim at least one man will certainly improve their stock after this match. The race is on.
Singles Match Shawna Martinez-Washington vs Reed Williams w/Barrel Special Guest Enforcer: Hans Vandenberg
The final match on the card is full of combustible elements. Shawna Martinez-Washignton is absolutely livid following the conclusion to last show's main event in which her husband suffered a broken leg at the hands of (now) Golden Gate Champion Drew Stevenson. Chaos ensured, a riot broke out and Shawna Martinez-Washington in hot pursuit nearly took Stevenson's head clean off with a near-miss chair shot to the ring post. Security was summoned and in the heat of the moment Shawna Martinez-Washington clocked Hans Vandenberg, the Head of Security with a vicious right hook. Straight from the office of IC3 himself he has specifically appointed Hans Vandenberg as the special guest enforcer for this match to ensure a similar incident does not occur this week in the interest of security. Reed Williams volunteered personally to IC3 to teach Shawna a lesson while at the same time seeing it as an opportunity to (potentially) seize the spotlight for himself at everyone else's expense. Will Reed Williams seize the opportunity and grab that brass ring in a death grip or will Shawna Martinez-Washington exercise her wrath as a warning to The Champion?
Main Event Drew Stevenson Championship Celebration Extravaganza
In the Main Event of Gold Rush 002, Isaac Cornelius III decided to dedicate some time to celebrate the first ever champion of Golden State Wrestling, Golden Gate Champion Drew Stevenson. In celebration of this milestone achievement anyone not named Washington is invited to the festivities as the guest of honor, Drew Stevenson himself is scheduled to address the roster. Join us as we celebrate the Man of the Hour! Attendance is Mandatory.

Steven O’Reilly: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another edition of Golden Gate Wrestling Gold Rush! I’m Steven O’Reilly, filling in tonight for Alexander Smith and I’m joined along ringside by Mark Robertson! Mark Robertson: Well I can certainly say that in my humble opinion I am honored to have an upgrade sitting next to me at the table tonight. The man that makes many of the roster moves, the Head of Talent Relations! Steven O’Reilly: Look, I know what you’re trying to do so knock it off. I’m not here by choice, I was never hired to do commentary and whether you like him or not Alexander Smith is damn good at his job. It is with a heavy heart that I’m sitting in his chair tonight. He gets paid to call the action and I’m aware you are too but let’s keep the politics out for just one night. Mark Robertson: Easy there, you don’t have to worry about me doing my job. I’m a professional and I’ve been in this business a very long time, I just happen to have the knack on getting on people’s bad sides by spilling the truth. Steven O’Reilly: Then you better hope you stay off mine. Anyways, getting back to what Robbie over here gets paid to do, we have a wrestling show to cover and as the guy that scouted many of these men and women I can say without a doubt that you’re all in for a treat. Mark Robertson: Something you and I can definitely agree on. Not only are several wrestlers looking to make their in ring debuts but many more are looking to make their case as to why they should be the first to face Golden Gate Champion, Drew Stevenson! Having managed and traveled with Drew Stevenson I can tell you that he is a man of the utmost class. The State of California and GGW should be proud to call him our champion and I’ll tell you what; Mr. Mainstream is going to make Mr. Cornelius an awful lot of money! Steven O’Reilly: I don’t agree with what Drew Stevenson did to Frank Washington; on an ethical level I thought it was absolutely disgusting. In this day and age plenty of people are willing to sell their family out, to turn their backs on those that supported them the most all in the name of greed. Mark Robertson: Frank should’ve tapped! It was absolutely legal and he could’ve saved himself from injury by swallowing his pride and take the L like a man! Steven O’Reilly: What did I say about politics Robbie? Look i know it was “legal” but when a contest becomes an excuse to take someone’s livelihood way it’s gone too far. Injuries happen no matter what sport it is but to do what Drew Stevenson did would constitute a ban in many athletic associations, he would be blackballed. It was intentional! Mark Robertson: We’ll have to agree to disagree. Steven O’Reilly: You don’t have a choice, Robbie. It wasn’t smart, the man made a lot of enemies, many of whom will be looking to state their case on why they should be the first to take on the self-proclaimed Mr. Mainstream. Showtime, Noah Adelaide, Reed Williams, Eli Coffin; these men are just a few names that have publicly stated their intentions to strike that large target on his back. And Shawna Martinez-Washington, if you ask me I don’t even think she gives a damn about the belt more so than enacting revenge on those responsible for her husband’s injury. Mark Robertson: Well everyone on the roster will have the opportunity to impress IC3 soon enough and I believe the field is going to be a crowded and heated one. "Money (Instrumental)” by Pink Floyd hits the arena as the crowd boos mercilessly as IC3 emerges in a blue pinstripe suit flanked by Hans Vandenberg and members of GGW Security. IC3 places his hand above his heart as he smiles on the way to ring, practically surrounded by security now as several fans attempt and fail to throw trash as the Owner and head honcho. Julian Masterson: Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome the Head of Security, Hans Vandenberg and the Owner of Golden Gate Wrestling, Isaac Cornelius the Third; I…C…3! Steven O’Reilly: The crowd is definitely letting The Boss have it. Mark Robertson: Well as The Boss you sometimes have to make decisions that aren’t always popular but listen. If sports teams listened to ever single complaint that the fan base had, we’d have an awful lot of bankrupt sports teams. IC3 steps up the ringsteps and enters the ring as Hans Vandenberg holds the ropes down to let the boss enter. Security splits off and surrounds the ring as several members, holding what appear to be large index cards follow them into the ring. IC3: Sunny San Francisco! You disappoint me!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
IC3: All this time I thought that you were a city and people of the utmost class, I thought that you would appreciate what I was giving this city after the San Francisco 49ers decided to go make their money down in Santa Clara! I thought that you pitiful people would have a reason to smile when I decided to bring a WINNER into town but you classless people are so mad at yourselves for tragically underachieving time and time again that you won’t allow yourselves to enjoy anything!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
IC3: Listen, if I knew that I was walking into Baltimore West I would’ve told Jose to pick a different city to break ground on. Do you people have to trash your own city, your own stadiums and arenas when you just don’t get your way? They say a little class goes a long way. An angry, balding man hops over the security rail and throws his soda right at IC3, only to have the drink intercepted by a security guard who gets drenched in soda instead. Security on the outside quickly restrains the man and begins to escort him out through the crowd. IC3: Let that be a warning that what happened two weeks ago will absolutely NOT be tolerated tonight or any other night! I hired these fine men to keep order and to ensure that we don’t have a repeat of Gold Rush 001 and to make sure certain “undesirables” don’t spoil tonight’s Championship Celebration Extravaganza. Drew Stevenson is a man of class and he deserves more than having a bunch of spoiled baboons try to rain on his parade! Mr. LAMESTREAM! Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap. Mr. LAMESTREAM! Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap.Mr. LAMESTREAM!Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap. Mr. LAMESTREAM!Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap. Mr. LAMESTREAM!Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap. Mr. LAMESTREAM!Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap. Mr. LAMESTREAM! Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap.Mr. LAMESTREAM!Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap. IC3: So without further ado, I would like to… IC3 gets cut off as “Pour Some Sugar on Me” by Def Leppard as Shawna Martinez-Washington emerges from the back, already in her ring gear and looking for a fight. Security quickly forms a wall infront of the ring as Hans Vandenberg grins, motioning for her to try to get in the ring. As the music cuts off IC3 just shakes his head with a grin as he wags his finger.IC3: What did I just get done saying, Shawna? I said that I would NOT tolerate certain undesirables ruining this night and inciting a riot. Last I checked you weren’t on the guest list for tonight’s celebration after the little stunt you pulled after the Championship match. Shawna yells and motions towards IC3, making her intentions know that she’s looking for blood. IC3 grins devilishly as he keeps his gentlemanly charm. IC3: Listen, I know that you’re not exactly very smart and I know that you, just like everyone else in this arena has a problem with authority. So luckily for you Mrs. Washington I have decided to provide several visual aids to help you un-der-stand. Roll that beautiful gold footage. If looks could kill, every single man standing in that ring would be dead right now as Shawna was absolutely furious after having to relive that memory one more time.IC3: This security presence you see right here? It’s all because of you Shawna. Do you have any idea of how much money you cost me last Gold Rush? I had to hire a bunch of temps to help poor Julian over there clean up the mess your little Raiderettes left in MY arena. The crowd reacts almost violently as IC3 made another jab as the city of Oakland, many fans in the audience made the trip from across the bay. IC3 points to Julian Masterson, GGW’s Ring Announcer and Janitor who has a sullen look as he remembers how much trash he had to pick up. IC3: You’re the reason why these people can’t have nice things! But I’ll give you one thing Shawna, one thing and even that may be a little bit generous. You came to fight; you came to do your job. So I’m going to be the man of class that I am, I’m going to be the better person tonight Shawna; I’m going to let you leave early so you can make sure Mr. Washington has some nice, hot soup to drink through a straw. Your match? It starts next! Steven O’Reilly: Next? That’s supposed to be the co-main event! Mark Robertson: You know what they say right? Almost as if IC3 and Mark Robertson shared a telepathic link IC3 snapped his fingers as four security guards in the ring present their large index cards in front of them.
IC3: I’m going to say it very slowly so all you people can understand what I’m saying, especially you Shawna since you have a habit of running into situations you’re unprepared for. Are you ready? The security guards flip their cards around as IC3 steps in front of them with a smug grin as he points out each word as it’s read.IC3: Card. Sub-ject. To. Change. We don’t print those four words on the ticket stubs or programs just because we’re legally mandated to, it’s to drive home the message that my word is final. You’re opening tonight so I hope you did your pre-match rituals awfully early tonight and told your husband that you love him dearly. Win with class, Shawna.

Singles Match Shawna Martinez-Washington vs Reed Williams w/Barrel Special Guest Enforcer: Hans Vandenberg Referee: Jack Williams/Joe Angelini
After the competitors and the Head of Security make their entrances Jack Williams calls for the bell. Knowing that she’s outnumbered 3-to-1 Shawna Martinez-Washington tries to bring the pain early and often. Reed Williams is quick to duck under the middle and top rope as Jack Williams is quick to tell her to back off. As Reed emerges from the ropes they tie up each trying to get the upper hand early in the match. Shawna manages to bring him down with a headlock takedown and rains down a few stiff punches before Reed manages to slip out. Shawna with the early momentum controls the next few moments of the match as she tries to keep Reed off balance, cornering him against the ropes which quickly draws the ire of the referee and calls for a clean break. Shawna breaks at 4 and looks to set him up for a spear but as she runs against the ropes Barrel manages to hook his arm under her foot and causes her to slip and fall. With a grin Reed sees his opportunity and hits a baseball sliding style dropkick straight to the jaw of Shawna, Barrel holding her foot down just long enough for Reed to connect. Hans is quick to distract the referee during this exchange, feigning concern for the health of Reed from Shawna’s aggressive style. As Jack Williams turns his attention back to the ring Reed rubs his jaw with a devilish grin and begins stomping at her surgically repaired neck looking to pick her apart as Barrel could be seen clapping and shouting encouragement. Over the next several minutes Reed Williams remains firmly in control, having stopped The Impassable’s momentum to a screeching halt with a timely assist, doing all that he can to target the neck, the proverbial Achilles heel. Reed hooks in a bridging headlock, looking to make Shawna tap out, testing that surgically repaired neck for all it’s worth but refuses to quit. Inch by inch Shawna manages to position herself towards the ropes and manages to just get the tip of her boot on the bottom rope forcing a clean break. Jack Williams nearly calls for a disqualification as Reed holds on until a count of 4.9 but manages to break the hold just before the point of no return. Reed runs his thumb against his throat as he grabs her by her hair and goes to lift her up for a piledriver. The referee warns him repeatedly not to do it but defiantly he holds her in position almost taunting the audience but before he can connect Shawna manages to reverse with a hurricanrana as the crowd erupts in cheers. Nearly avoiding disaster Shawna makes a furious comeback as she connects with a flurry of clotheslines, elbow strikes, and suplexes on the Nonparallel. Shawna looking to put this match away hits Reed with a National Anthem™ [Delayed Cradle Suplex], Jack Williams drops down to count as she holds Reed in a bridge. 1, 2, 3. … … … … … ... ... The bell rings as Shawna begins to celebrate as Reed Williams is lying flat on his back. Julian Masterson is about to announce the winner to this match as Barrel yells at the referee, pointing to Reed’s foot on the rope; Reed Williams managed to get his foot on the bottom rope just in the nick of time! The frustration could be seen in Shawna’s eyes as Jack Williams waves off the pin, ordering this match to continue. Shawna begins to back up for another spear, looking to her sides to make sure Hans or Barrel dont interject themselves into the match. As Reed barely manages to get to his feet Shawna runs at him full speed and connect with the spear, but hitting Jack Williams instead! Reed managed to the referee by his belt and threw him into harm’s way. As soon as the referee goes down it doesn’t take long for Hans Vandenberg to enter the fray as he hits Shawna with a big boot as she’s checking on the referee. The crowd boos as Hans unleashes a flurry of punches in retaliation from the last show and goes to set her up for the spinebuster. Shawna however manages to counter and a chokehold with scissors, quickly choking the air out of the Head of Security. Satisfied with the damage she releases the hold and quickly executes the il Impassable™ [Curb Stomp] on Hans, effectively removing him from this match. Just as she turns her attention back to Reed Williams… *WHAP*, Barrel clubs Shawna straight in the chest with a polish hammer. The big man grins at his handiwork and picks her up while she’s still dazed, lifting her up high for a suplex lift before crashing down hard with the Steiner Screwdriver. Reed manages to crawl over for the cover as Joe Angelini sprints out from the back to count the pinfall, the crowd booing loudly as he reaches 3. Winner: Reed Williams

Singles Match Eli Coffin vs Gio Defalco Referee: Joe Angelini Eli Coffin takes control from early moments of the match, being careful to stay out of reach and bait Gio DeFalco to try to come after him. Eli Coffin quickly catches Gio off guard with an enziguri and spends the next several minutes working over the head with precise strikes. Gio manages to get in a few good hits and manages to evade a spinning heel kick and countering with a release german suplex. Despite the brief change in fortunes before long Eli Coffin is back in control as he nearly manages to take Gio’s head off with a surprisingly stiff lariat off the rebound. Gio makes one last desperate push to turn this match around and out of desperation goes for a springboard maneuver, only to be caught midair by Grand Atonement (Codebreaker). Eli Coffin makes the cover as Gio Defalco is out cold; 1, 2, 3. Winner: Eli Coffin

“XYZ” by High and Mighty Color plays across the speakers, an unknown theme to the audience but the main lights of the arena are dimmed down and new lights come on with a mixture of red and white; they created the Rising Sun design as it rotated through the audience but BURAI didn’t make his way to the ring, but rather instead of was just Alex Bradford by himself. Of course he was booed as people who are aware of him know that he was always a little partial to the bad guys and a bit of a douche when it came down to it. Bradford makes his way into the ring with a microphone in hand and makes notion with his left hand to quiet down the music and the people, raising the microphone.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, if I may have your attention for a moment…if you weren’t aware of who I am by now, allow me to introduce myself! You may call me the best manager in the business! You may even call me the Connoisseur of TRUE Wrestling Talent! My name, ladies and gentlemen, is Alex Bradford and I bring to you the hottest star to come to the United States in the past twenty five years, the Japanese SENSATION, BABY! The man who kicks people so hard he makes their heart skip a beat! I of course am talking about the man known SIMPLY as BURAI!”
Alex Bradford, one of the more charismatic men in the business and a master of many trades such as promoting, commentating, interviewing.. hell he could sell thongs to grown men to wear if he wanted to because he was just that damn good.
“Two weeks ago, Dash Miles got in our way to victory and allowed Ortega to take the victory. And you know what Ortega did with that victory that he stole from BURAI!? He took his tail, his entire damn family of cult took their tails, tucked ‘em between their legs and they RAN - AWAY! But that’s fine! It’s wonderful! Because it just means that he knew the moment was coming soon that BURAI would be caving his skull in very soon with one very simple kick and he got out while he still could. Smart move, Ortega… but Dash Miles…. Dash Miles on the other hand may have just very well signed his soul over to the afterlife! Because you see Mister Miles, you cost BURAI the chance at victory!”
BURAI wasn’t a happy camper and what he wanted to say was given to Bradford in a small degree and it was up to Bradford to elaborate and expand what BURAI wanted to get across and he did just that, especially when BURAI wasn’t around such as this moment, because BURAI wasn’t too fluent in English.
“You see, my friend BURAI is not here today because he takes his act, his profession and what he does very seriously. When he was cost that match two weeks ago at the debut Gold Rush because of Dash Miles he went into a deep meditative state and deep into focus but he knew that his words and his thoughts could not go unheard and that is why he asked me to personally, publicly, address all of this. See, BURAI is not happy and when he returns he will get his vengeance, such is the way of his code of honor. And Dash Miles-- understand that you have a whole lot more to worry about than getting through Silas Romero. But don’t you worry your sweet little head off, buddy, oh no! Because BURAI is indeed not here tonight but in two weeks time, same place, same time, on Wednesday, June 17th, he will be back and he’s coming for you, Miles. BURAI is not to be taken lightly and with me by his side he’s going to go far! But it all starts somewhere and it starts… with you!”
Bradford dropped the mic with the music playing and we cut to the next segment of the night.

Singles Match Devi Novaković vs Autumn Raven Referee: Joe Angelini Autumn Raven takes control early on in the match using a combination of speed and experience to dance circles around the newcomer Devi Novaković. The first few minutes Raven uses a variety of springboards and swift kicks to keep Devi off balance and manages to score a nearfall early on. Devi manages to briefly gain control of the match after Raven misses a Death Drop [Double Foot Stomp], as she managed to roll out of the way and quickly spring up for a step-up enziguri. She follows up with a few quick low dropkicks to the face as the crowd warms up to the self-taught rookie. Devi points to the turnbuckle energetically before leaping up, motioning eagerly for Raven to get back to her feet as she sees an window of opportunity seemingly open before her eyes. Devi looks to quickly steal the match with a SuperNOVA (Top Rope Diving Huricanrana) but Raven was well prepared as she catches her midair with a Claw of the Night [Superkick]. The energy quickly deflates out of the arena like a balloon was just popped by a tack; the cheers quickly turning to stunned silence before a chorus of boos erupt as Raven grins sadistically. She quickly moves to her downed opponent and hooks both legs as Joe Angelini counts the pin. 1, 2, 3. Winner: Autumn Raven

Singles Match Alex Healy vs Adam Johnson Referee: Bobby Brooks
Early on neither man can take full advantage as they each manage to get in a good amount of back and forth offense in the opening minutes of the match. Adam Johnson looks to catch Healy with a vicious big boot after whipping him towards the ropes but Healy manages to duck under and sweep Johnson’s legs out from under him with a swift hook of his arm. Healy goes to transition towards a headlock but Johnson manages to get up to a knee and shoves him off before connecting with a spinning heel kick. Johnson manages to take control over the next several minutes as he begins to work on the legs of Healy, looking to take away his speed to slow the match down to the pace he wants. Bobby Brooks calls for Johnson to make a clean break several times after cornering Healy and using the ropes to chip away at his legs but Johnson manages to get him to back off after threatening to backhand him. Johnson slaps Healy in the head in a very mocking manner as he runs against the ropes and hits Healy full speed with a big boot as he gets up. Johnson takes a good moment to gloat to the crowd, pointing towards Healy as he shouts to much chagrin “Is that your hero? Is that your Rec Centre Hero?” Johnson applies the figure four leglock tight as Healy tries to free himself, doing all he can to try to reverse the pressure on the hold. Johnson notices this and grabs onto the ropes to stay in control while Brooks isn’t looking as the crowd shouts obscenities his direction. After several more tries Brooks finally catches him in the act and calls for a clean break and Johnson pleading his innocence throws his arms up. Healy takes advantage and manages to roll over onto his stomach to reverse the hold, causing Johnson to quickly scramble towards the ropes. After Healy complies with the clean break both men are slow to get back to their feet as the referee counts to 7 before both men are back to a vertical base and from there Healy manages a furious comeback with the crowd firmly behind him. The next two minutes belong to Healy as he manages to reverse anything thrown at him having caught a second wind. Johnson gets desperate and tries to hit a low blow for the disqualification but Healy catches his boot just in time as he turns him around and connects with an Izzi Forged (Tiger Suplex), bridging for the pin as Brooks counts; 1, 2, 3. Winner: Alex Healy

Singles Match Theo Vega vs Thaddeus Stone Referee: Bobby Brooks
As the match begins each man tries to gauge the other looking for any openings provided by the other. After a minute or so Theo Vega emerges as the clear aggressor and manages to control the pace and flow of the match from here on out. Vega happens to be just a second quicker on his punches, a moment faster evading Stone’s offense, and just a step or two ahead when it comes to slipping out of holds. After several minutes Theo Vega nearly puts the match away with a One-Arm Fallaway Slam but Stone manages to kick out at 2.6. Vega begins to scout Thaddeus Stone, looking to put this match away as he calls for the Sin City Slicer to the crowd. As Stone gets to a knee Vega places his between his legs before lifting him for the Sin City Slicer (Razor’s Edge) but Stone somehow manages to shift his weight and slip behind him. Seeing the fleeting opportunity Stone goes for a The Perfect Cut (jumping cutter) seemingly out of nowhere but he comes down to the mat empty handed as Vega slips out and shoves him forward. Before Stone could see what hit him however he gets met with a low dropkick to the face as he tries to get back to his feet. Vega with a confident grin picks him up by his hair and this time connects with the Sin City Slicer. Before going for the pin Theo Vega dusts his hands off and wags his finger at Stone as to say “nice try, but no dice” before going for the pinfall. 1,2,3. Winner: Theo Vega

Singles Match Matt Ward vs Sean Vaughn Referee: Joe Angelini
From the beginning of the match Matt Ward is in control, still steaming from last week’s loss against Showtime Ward harasses Sean Vaughn early and often with a series of stiff punches mixed in with some classic mat wrestling. The arrogant pretty boy Sean Vaughn is quick to yell both at Angelini and Ward to not hit him in his face and repeatedly tries to get Angelini to disqualify him for using closed fists. As the match goes on the crowd reluctantly gets behind Matt Ward as they see him as the lesser of evils but still manage to throw in a few jabs such as “You Still Suck” after pulling off a high impact clothesline or spinebuster. Ward merely grins to himself as he drives his boot straight into Vaughn’s face before shouting “You’re a bunch of pinheads!” back at the crowd. Sean Vaughn does manage to get a few good strikes in here or there but Matt Ward almost chuckles before grabbing him by the head and hitting a series of standing headbutts causing Vaughn to slump lifelessly to the mat. Ward manages to drop down for the cover but Angelini only manages to reach a count of 2. Vaughn shows signs of life shortly after as he manages to grab Ward by the front of his trunks and pulls him forward straight into the turnbuckle. Vaughn takes the brief reprieve in action to roll out of the ring grabbing a hand mirror from underneath. Using the mirror he checks to make sure his face isn’t bruised or bloody before climbing to the top rope. As he goes for the moonsault however he’s met with a very rude reality as Matt Ward was back on his feet and he catches Vaughn in midair! Vaughn shakes his head vigorously in vain as he gets hit with the The Black Light (The Flatliner) shortly after. Instead of going for the pin Vaughn gets picked up as Matt Ward hits The Black Light a second time for good measure. Satisfied Ward finally drops down for the cover. 1,2,3. Winner: Matt Ward

Stephanie Clark: Ladies and gentlemen I am standing here with Thaddeus Stone, The Diamond in the Rough who has indeed hit a rough patch on his return to wrestling. Tonight you suffered another defeat, this time at the hands of Theo Vega and the Golden State is wondering what’s next for…
Thaddeus Stone raises his hand and asks for the microphone as Stephanie Clark hands it off.
Thaddeus Stone: I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed. When I came to California I made it my mission to show this state what REAL wrestling was all about. In this day and age you see all these little “entertainers” in spandex and models in bikinis making a mockery of the very spot that my father loved, the sport that my grandfather loved and the sport that I love.
Stephanie Clark: Being the veteran that you are it must be tough to accept that you lost to two young guns in back to back shows, especially considering that they are the very same people you claim don’t appreciate “real wrestling”.
Thaddeus Stone: It makes me sick! That’s how it makes me feel Stephanie. I busted my ass for years, YEARS to bring some respect back to this sport only to see punks like Reed Williams and some Casanova wannabe take one giant piss on the progress that I made! This isn’t what Isaac Cornelius promised me, this isn’t –
Stephanie Clark quickly moves out of the way as Barrel and Reed Williams ambush Thaddeus Stone from behind. The veteran tries to fight both men off but Barrel quickly captures him in a full nelson allowing Reed Williams to just have his way punching at him repeatedly. Barrel then launches him straight into the set equipment as wall decorations and lights start crashing to the floor. Reed hits Sweet Dreams [Cupcake] as Thaddeus Stone rebounds and lays him out on the floor. Reed smirks and kneels, grabbing him by his hair as blood is running down Stone’s face.
Reed Williams: Time to go behind the barn, Old Yeller.
Barrel picks Thaddeus Stone up, lifting him up for a suplex, looking to hit the Steiner Screwdriver before Reed motions for Barrel to drop him. A pop could be heard from the audience as Theo Vega comes running out. Reed motions for a strategic retreat as he and Barrel quickly run off. T.V. kneels down at a bloody Thaddeus Stone and shakes his head before looking back towards the direction the assailants ran off to. T.V. looks the part of a reluctant hero as Stephanie Clark returns with GGW medical personnel as the cameras cut off.

Singles Match Dash Miles vs Silas Romero Referee: Bobby Brooks
Dash Miles comes out of the gate on fire as he’s quick to trade punches with Silas Romero, the first few minutes resemble more of an MMA or boxing bout than a professional wrestling match. Miles catches Romero with a few vicious uppercuts of the American and European variety as Bobby Brooks could be seen visually frustrated on exactly how he should step in and keep order in the match. Romero, not to be outgunned throws a few stiff elbows before capturing Miles in an armbar takedown. Romero manages to handstand throughout the move and even bridges to torque more pressure. Miles screams in pain before Romero releases he hold as he takes a moment to flaunt for the crowd. Romero manages to work over the arm over the next minute looking to neutralize some of Miles striking capability before hitting a devastating Dēbosu Change .00 (Awful Waffle/Omega Driver) that nearly seals the deal. Romero looks for a pinfall but only manages a 2 count as the divided crowd shows a mixture of approval and disappointment. Not ready to take his foot off the gas, Romero quickly gets up and shouts “You will kneel!" as he backs up and goes for a running knee but Miles shows impressive awareness as he sprints and hits with a clothesline that nearly turns Romero inside out as he twists and turns in the air before hitting the mat. Dash Miles isn’t able to take full advantage of the clothesline as it takes him several moments to crawl over to Romero, only getting a 2 count when he throws his arm over for the cover. Sensing that Romero was still a little bit dazed Miles grins as he manages to get to his feet at the count of 5 when the referee begins his obligatory 10 count, and he kneels in anticipation, Romero with the help of the ropes gets up at the count of 8. Looking to beat Knockout Supreme at his own game as he leaps with the End of Days (Superman Punch) but this time it was Silas Romero who was quicker on the draw as he connects with the GKFO (Rolling Elbow).A stunned Dash Miles drops to mat as Silas Romero hooks the leg for the cover. 1, 2, 3. Winner: Silas Romero
As the match ends Bobby Brooks raises Silas Romero's hand as he grins and poses for the crowd before making his way to the back. Dash Miles sits up, hitting the mat in frustraition as he realizes what hits him. Before Dash could really reflecton the final moments of the match BURAI blindsides him from behind. Steven O'Reilly: BURAI? He isn't supposed to be in the building tonight! Mark Robertson: All warfare is based on deception afterall. Steven O'Reilly: This is nothing more than an ambush, why don't you try to stab a man in the front instead of sneaking up from behind? Mark Robertson: Why work harder when you can work smarter? BURAI strikes as hard as the best of them, he's a thinking man's fighter! Meditation is good or the body as well as the mind and nothing is more dangerous than a man with a clear mind. Both men end up brawling inside the ring, trading punches and kicks and Dash seems to catch a second wind as he begins to land more and more punches to back BURAI into a corner. BURAI responds with a flurry of palm strikes before hitting a roundhouse kick to daze Dash to set up the Death Kick (Standing Temple Kick). BURAI stands over Dash as Alex Bradford could be seen clapping and smiling walking down the ramp, raising his arm as he exits the ring before GGW cuts to commercial.

Singles Match Showtime vs Noah Adelaide Referee: Jack Williams
This match starts on the outside of the ring with Showtime not waiting for Noah Adelaide to get to the ring to start things off as they exchange punches on the ramp. Showtime is quick to hit him with several stiff jabs and hooks and whips him towards the ring steps with authority, causing him to double up and land on the other side. The crowd is hot for both wrestlers as Noah Adelaide shows his tenacity as he manages to hit a surprisingly swift uppercut as Showtime goes to pick him up and much to Jack Williams’s dismay the two continue to fight around the ring and into the crowd for the next several minutes, essentially becoming an unsanctioned street fight. At one point Showtime grabs a handful of popcorn and a cup of soda, taking a drink of it before pouring the rest and giving the fan a $10 so the family of 3 can get more snacks. Noah Adelaide manages to get in some licks of his own as he manages to use the stair rail as an environmental weapon and using a hurricanrana to send him into and over the guard rail back towards the ring. After nearly 7 minutes the bell rings to officially start the match as the two finally end up in the ring where Jack Williams can exercise his authority. The pendulum begins to swing back in favor of Showtime once again as he delivers a flurry of knife edge chops, telling Noah Adelaide to “shhhhhhhh” right before throwing all his might behind one, following up with a slap to the side of the head. Looking to humiliate Noah Adelaide he picks him up and tosses him into the crowd shouting “bring me back some cookies next time, ya Keebler elf!” Noah Adelaide surfs through the crowd as Jack Williams begins his count, Noah finally reaching the other side of the audience by the count of 7. Noah Adelaide quickly gets back in the ring after that as they lock up. Showtime whips him to the ropes and goes to hit the Samoan Drop but Noah Adelaide manages to use his momentum against him to put his shoulders on the mat for a 2 count, causing Showtime to chuckle and wags his finger as he sits up. Noah Adelaide looks to hit a temple kick to a seated Showtime but misses the first time as Showtime ducks but gets hit as he quickly follows up with a second attempt. The War Machine looks to put the cocky loudmouth away as he makes his way to and ascends the turnbuckle. He looks to connect with Dragons Wrath [Corkscrew SSP] but Showtime manages to get his knees up just in time, leaving Noah desperately gasping for air as the wind leaves his lungs in short order. Showtime wastes no time taking advantage of the situation as he makes it up to his feet and slaps Noah Adelaide hard in the face looking to bring him back to his senses. Showtime picks him up by his hair and hits a snap DDT before kipping back up to his feet as the momentum takes another shift. He start stomping on the mat several times, places his hands on his knees, moving around as he sized up his opponent. As Noah Adelaide turns around Showtime is quick to grab him, looking to hit Show's Over [Rock Bottom] but Noah elbows him several times and takes him down to the mat with a Tilt-A-Whirl Head Scissors into an Arm bar. As Williams asks Showtime if he wishes to give up he shakes his head vigorously and defiantly as Noah looks to crank up the pressure. Noah’s eyes quickly widen though, sensing trouble as Showtime had not only managed to pick himself off the mat but he was lifting him with Noah still attached to his arm! Showtime runs at full speed as the turnbuckle before quickly spinning around to connect with Show’s Over. Showtime hooks the leg as the crowd counts with the referee; 1, 2, 3. Winner: Showtime

The moment that everybody has been waiting for, the Drew Stevenson championship celebration. As everybody in the arena is on the edge of their seats, the public address sound system blares to life playing "I'm the Man" by Aloe Blacc as the fans begin to deafen the arena and allowed sea of boos. Coming out from behind the curtain, we see none other than the legendary Mark Robertson who is pushing Stevenson in a wheelchair as Stevenson has a cast on his left leg and the Golden Gate Wrestling Championship down in his lap. Surrounding the two men are none other than Golden Gate’s finest, GGW Security. Not looking overly pleased, Stevenson screams at the fans as Robertson pushes him down the aisle to ringside and parks the chair. Suddenly, Stevenson immediately gets to his feet and looks over at his good friend, Mark Robertson as both men smile and laugh. Drew Stevenson: Now that is something that Frank cannot do Mark, he can't walk. Mark Robertson: Well, he should have tapped out Drew. Hugging it out for a moment, Stevenson holds his championship up into the air while grinning sadistically as Robertson points at his best friend, the Golden Gate Wrestling Champion, Drew Stevenson. Reaching down and removing the fake cast from off of his leg, Stevenson skips to the steel steps and quickly walks up them where he meets Mr. Cornelius in the ring and shakes his hand. After shaking hands, Stevenson once again holds the belt high into the air much to the dismay of these California fans. Being given a microphone, Mark Robertson motions to Stevenson that he wants to speak first; he wants the world to know just how proud he is of his best friend. Mark Robertson: The one thing that I will never understand is why you cretins boo this man. Motioning with his left hand over to his best friend, Stevenson nods his head in agreement as he cannot understand why they would boo him as well.Mark Robertson: This man right here? He is the best thing that has ever happened to this business, nobody has put this business on the map like my best friend has. Still continuing to deafen the arena in a sea of boos, Mark shakes his head and looks completely disappointed at this capacity crowd.Mark Robertson: You know, every single person here tonight should be on their feet thanking Mr. Stevenson for what he has done for not only this company but this business as a whole. You see, Mr. Stevenson walked into that ring last week and he did exactly what he said he was going to do; he became the first ever Golden Gate Wrestling Champion and there was nobody that was good enough to stop him. Oh yeah, I know, every single person in attendance tonight is still mad at the fact that Frank Washington got his leg broken but let's be honest with one another; had Frank simply tapped out? His leg would have never got broken and he would still be able to walk right now. Bringing his own microphone up to his lips, Stevenson has something to say.Drew Stevenson: To be fair Mark, if Frank had simply drank more milk then he would have never been in this position. Nodding his head while shaking his finger, he agrees with Drew. Mark Robertson: That is very true, so if all of you cretins want to sit there and blame YOUR Golden Gate Champion then I suggest that you look at the facts and the facts are that Frank should have been drinking his milk and eating his Wheaties. Well, wait a minute Drew -- Frank is married now so we all know that Shawna does all of his meal preparations for him. Nodding his head and agreeing with everything that Mark is saying, Stevenson remains quiet for right now so that his best friend can continue to speak. Mark Robertson: So you see, all of you should be blaming Shawna Washington for not taking care of her husband. Instead, she is more worried about trying to take Stevenson's head off with a steel chair than attending to her fragile husband's broken leg. By now, the fans are riled up and in a frenzy. "F&&K YOU DREW! F&$K YOU DREW! F&$K YOU DREW!"
Stretching his left arm out while shaking his head, Mark looks completely disgusted by this crowd tonight. Mark Robertson: Of course, these fans show absolutely no class whatsoever but that's not surprising; after all, they are fans of the Washington's. As both men nod their heads in total agreement with one another, Stevenson brings his microphone back up to his lips as Mark lowers his so that he can listen to everything that his best friend has to say. Drew Stevenson: Do you know what I find to be absolutely hysterical? Is that when Frank and I were over in North Carolina? You same fans cheered him when he was trying to dethrone me, when he was trying to make sure that I was no longer at the top of the mountain. However, now that the roles have been reversed? You same fans boo me for doing exactly what he did. I'm not surprised, I have really come to not expect much out of California because it is the biggest piece of crap state that I have ever had to come to and if I could give an enema to just one state? Holding up his finger, he continues to make his point as these fans are angry. Drew Stevenson: It would most certainly be right here in California. Lowering his microphone momentarily, these fans were pretty pissed off as they were being very vocal about how they feel right now. Drew Stevenson: Boo me all you want because ninety percent of you don't want to be here either, it's just that you're simply stuck here and have no other way to get out. Quite frankly, I think that everybody in attendance should be disappointed with themselves because here I am, YOUR GGW Champion, a man who went out there and sacrificed everything just as Frank did yet you boo me simply because I was the better man. You see, I tried telling you all -- I kept telling you up until the matchup that I was better than Frank, I told all of you that I was going to walk out as your new champion and nobody believed me. So when I did walk out as the new champion? Every single person started crying, tears filled their eyes because their precious Superman wasn't able to walk out on his own accord but that isn't my fault, no, I told you all that I would break even a family member to become a champion and that was exactly what I did. Lowering his microphone momentarily, you could feel the tension in the air. Bringing his microphone back up, Mark decides to speak as he has a few things to say as well. Mark Robertson: I agree with Mr. Stevenson, every single person here tonight should be disappointed with themselves because if you were in the exact same position that Mr. Stevenson was in? You would have done the exact same thing and don't tell me that you wouldn't, because you guys will kill each other for less. These fans begin to scream obscenities at Mark and Drew as they both look at each other and shrug, not quite understanding why they are so hostile and bitter towards them. Drew Stevenson: Whether you like it or not, I am your champion and I am going to be for a very long time. I will admit though, it astounds me how all of you can boo a man of my class yet you support an STD ridden woman looking to take my head off simply because she's angry that Frank is going to find out just how many diseases that she has after we both had to have blood work done because she tried to get near me. Looking completely disgusted, Stevenson looks like he could throw up as Mark immediately takes the reins while patting his best friend on the back.Mark Robertson: It's okay Mr. Stevenson, you just take a step back and relax because it's your night and you don't have to stand here and discuss all of the disgusting cretins that believe that they are better than you. Ignoring the fans, Mark turns to face Stevenson as he has a big smile stretched along his face.Mark Robertson: Mr. Stevenson, tonight is your night and myself and Mr. Cornelius want to show you just how much that we appreciate you. So to all of you cretins out there not named Washington, come down to this ring and show Mr. Stevenson the appreciation that he deserves. Expecting the roster to come out as mandated by IC3 himself, instead for the second time this night “Pour Some Sugar on Me” by Def Leppard hits the arena. Shawna emerges from the back but this time with a Singapore cane, looking to bring a little bit of backup with her to avoid being caught by surprise as several security guards quickly walk up the ramp to intercept her. Without even blinking Shawna cracks two guards in the head and stomach and continues to walk down the ramp. Drew Stevenson takes a few steps back as security in the ring steps up in front of him and IC3. IC3: You better not get in this ring Shawna, turn around and go home to your husband and show some class and humility for once in your life! Shawna manages to hit another security guard with the weapon before 4 guards, 2 from each side close in on her and restrain her, forcing her to drop the weapon. With a smug grin IC3 steps out away from security and walks down the steps to the outside. IC3: Ladies and gentlemen, your hero… isn’t much of a hero at all. She’s a rebel for a lost cause with a bad case of sour grapes. Now I told you at the beginning of this show that you were not invited to this celebration, I told you to win with class and take off early to spend time with your fragile husband but yet here I am giving you a lecture like you were a toddler. Shawna struggles to get free but much to her surprise IC3 goes to wave off security as they let her go and take several steps back.IC3: I know how badly you want to get at Drew Stevenson, I know you want his blood all over your little Neanderthal knuckles, I do but there’s no chance in hell of that happening. Did you forget just who signs the checks around here; did you forget that once you signed on the dotted line that you signed your fate over to me? You know if I wanted to I could demote you to go work in the food court for a few weeks, I could make you Julian’s assistant janitor, I could even make you wrestle your matches with your arms tied behind your back and you know what? There’s nothing you could do about it without breaching your contract and being tied up in so much legal tape that your great grandchildren would have to pay off your debts. I’m not scared of you or your little tantrums; you’ve already dug yourself a deep enough hole. Tell you what, for being such a trooper I’ll only fine you $10,000 for the damages to the arena two weeks ago and allow you to keep your dignity if you just turn around and walk to the back right now. Just walk away, and let it go. Show some class Shawna, be a real example for all these imbeciles to follow. The crowd boos as Shawna apparently gives up and throws her arms up before turning back towards the ramp. The four security guards begin to follow her up the ramp as IC3 could be seen wearing the smuggest Cheshire grin humanly possible. Just as it appeared IC3 and Drew Stevenson won in this little standoff Shawna quickly turns around before security can catch her and hits such a devastating spear on IC3 that it nearly breaks him in half. IC3 crumbles do the ground clutching his midsection as security immediately piles out of the ring to restrain her. Drew Stevenson appears to be in complete and utter shock that someone would have the audacity to strike the boss while Mark Robertson looks absolutely mortified. Shawna grins as she lets security take her to the back, looking awfully satisfied with the damage she dealt as IC3 is still clutching himself on the ground. Mark Robertson and Drew Stevenson could be seen talking to each other as several security guards lag behind to check on the owner. Just as Shawna vanishes behind the curtain…
After a moment of confusion two men wearing black jackets and bandanas dart through the crowd and hop the barricade, taking advantage of the momentary lapse in security. IC3 nearly panics upon poking his head up near the apron as he sees two members of the crowd mowing down his security force. Drew Stevenson turns around upon the crowd going wild as the two bandana assailants enter the ring. Much as a throwback to Gold Rush 001 fans begin throwing chairs into the ring, something that the intruders take quick advantage of as they shrug and pick them up, using them as weapons against what remained of the security force in the ring. Mark Robertson quickly ducks out of the ring as Drew, seeing the men as nothing but fans clubs one of them in the back with a stiff double axe handle to the back, stomping on him several times before the other man turns around, slowly opening his jacket to reveal a logo that San Francisco fans know all too well. Drew almost looks like as if he’s seen a ghost as the other man slowly gets up and takes off his letterman jacket, revealing THE GOOD HOUSE logo done in the same fashion. Both men pull down their bandanas to reveal Frankie Cocheese and the very man that that Drew knocked down was none other than Evan “Roach” Griffith. The take off their jackets as Drew Stevenson nervously backs up raising his hands before the both just jump him, getting in a few good punches and kicks to the Golden Gate Champion. Roach picks up Drew Stevenson and shoves him to Cocheese who kicks him right in the midsection before looking to hit The Takeover (Tigerbomb). Before he can lift him however Mark Robertson grabs Drew Stevenson and pulls him out by his legs as IC3 quickly retreats up the ramp with them. Franke Cocheese picks up a microphone as the crowd is going wild with what used to be security laying all around them. Frankie Cocheese: San Francisco, did you miss us? Frankie throws the microphone on the ground as he notices the Golden Gate Championship left behind in the ring. He picks it up and lifts it up high to the outrage of Drew Stevenson as Roach stands on the bottom rope leaning forward daring Stevenson to come back. Roach cups his ear towards the crowd as the reaction is nearly loud enough to cause a mini earthquake by itself. Drew throws his jacket down in protest as Cocheese hangs the belt over the rope just begging him to come back. Drew Stevenson starts to walk down the ramp before throwing his arms down violently as he sees the destruction unleashed by Frankie Cocheese and Roach as he retreats up the ramp. Cocheese tosses the belt towards the ramp as the feed fades out.
